The first thing to remember when you are thinking about getting braces is that you need to think about what you want from them. You need to know what your goals are with your teeth. Do you just want to straighten your teeth, or do you want to fix any problems you may have with your bite. There are many different types of braces and you should try to choose the one that best fits your needs.

The first thing you need to look at is whether you want metal or plastic braces. Metal braces are very popular and they are also the most expensive. They are made out of stainless steel and they are very durable. The only downside to them is that they can be more difficult to clean. If you have a hard time cleaning them than you may want to consider going with plastic. Plastic is much easier to clean and it doesn’t take as long to wear either. The only downside to plastic is that they are not as durable.

You also need to consider the type of bracket you will need. There are three basic types of brackets. The first is the traditional bracket which is usually used for front teeth. This type of bracket is usually made out of gold or silver. The second is the lingual bracket which is used for the back teeth. This type of bracket has a base that is shaped like a tongue. The last type of bracket is the self ligating bracket. These brackets are the newest and they have been around for a while now. These brackets are made out of nickel titanium.

You also need decide whether you want ceramic or metal. Ceramic is the newer type of material that is being used in braces. It is lighter and it is also more resistant to breakage. The downside to ceramic is that it takes longer to set up and it is more expensive. Metal is the older type of material that is being use in braces. It is heavier and it is more durable. The downside to metal is that it can be more difficult to clean.
